Meet the candidate night hosted by Communiversity and presented by the Queen Creek/San Tan Valley Independent newspaper.
At a meet and greet at Baci's restaurant on Germann and Ellsworth. It was attended by State Senate President Andy Biggs and Representative Warren Petersen as well as several Small Businesses from Queen Creek.
At a meet and greet in the beginning of June, U.S. Congressman Matt Salmon endorsed Emilena Turley in her race for Queen Creek Town Council.

As the campaign moves into the summer, Emilena Turley's campaign will continue to meet voters, and spread her message of business growth, fiscal responsibility, open communication and family values.
"I am honored to receive Representative Salmon's endorsement. He is a leader that I look up to and his support of my race means so much," said Emilena Turley.
Over 300 residents turned out to support Emilena's Campaign Kickoff, which was hosted by Kevin Petersen. Some of those in attendance included elected officials such as State Senator Kelli Ward and State Representative Eddie Farnsworth, Phoenix City Council Member Sal Dicicio, Higley School Board Member Jake Hoffman and many others.
"I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that I have received for my campaign. This has truly been an incredible experience so far. I am excited to continue to meet the residents of Queen Creek, hear their ideas and earn their vote," said Emilena Turley.
