Welcome to my website,
My name is Emilena Turley. I am running for the Queen Creek Town Council. I decided to run because I have the desire, skill set and dedication necessary to build on our cities' past success while introducing innovative ideas to move Queen Creek into the future. This is not an easy task and I know that it will take hard work, tenacity and the ability to collaborate well with people. I look forward to meeting many of you in the weeks and months to come and sharing my vision for Queen Creek, now and in the future.
While I look forward to hearing your stories when we meet in person, let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Chandler, Arizona in 1972. The following year my family moved out of state for several years, returning to Arizona during my sophomore year of High School. I graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa. I went on to attend Phoenix College where I received an AAS in Legal Secretarial Studies. I am currently an independent paralegal, where I work primarily in the East Valley. I am married to Aaron Turley, a software developer and together we have 8 children. My family and I moved to Queen Creek in 2010 because we love the small town feel and tight knit sense of community that it offers.
I have always had a strong sense of responsibility to help in the community and have been involved in various local issues. I was also heavily involved in the referendum to stop Obamacare in Arizona. I am active in my church as well as in my children’s school.
Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail and earning your vote.
